Monday: When You're a Mom

As someone who had a goal of visiting a new country every year until she had
children (and did!), this rings particularly true.

What is a Mothering Joy?

I'm tired of mothers being torn down. Motherhood, albeit challenging, is one of the most important things that any woman can do in our society and I don't ever want articles on my blog to come across as negative towards motherhood. From this point forward, at the end of each of my articles, whether related to the subject or not, I will include a brief story of something that made me (or another mother) happy to be mother.

Do you have a mothering joy that recently happened to you? Submit it in the 'Contact' section and I'd love to include it in an upcoming article.

Motherhood needs to be celebrated more and insulted far less.
